2. What Data We Collect

We collect personal data only when you voluntarily provide it to us — for example when you send us a booking enquiry or contact us by email. This may include your name, email address, arrival and departure dates, and any other information you choose to share.

When you visit this website, our server automatically records technical access data (IP address, browser type, date and time of access). This data is used solely for technical operation and security purposes and is not linked to individual users.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

We process your data to respond to your enquiry and, where applicable, to conclude and fulfil a rental agreement. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures). For general communication, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Data is shared with third parties only where necessary to process your booking (e.g. payment service providers) or where legally required. Where we use booking management software, it operates under data processing agreements in accordance with GDPR.

5. Cookies

This website uses only technically necessary cookies required for the operation of the site (e.g. session management). No tracking cookies or third-party marketing cookies are used without your consent.

6. Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable legal obligations (e.g. accounting retention periods of up to 10 years under Spanish and EU law).

7. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; restrict or object to processing; and receive your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@stayolivella.com.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD), www.aepd.es.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
